IFT Member Resource Groups are identity-based groups created and run by members from communities that have historically been underrepresented and under-supported in the organization and/or science of food profession. Resource groups will serve as a space to create community and strategically collaborate to address challenges and opportunities members commonly experience.
Currently, there are four active resource groups. IFT members can check out their IFT connect pages here:
- African American, African, Black Resource Group
- Women’s Resource Group
- Proud Resource Group
- Early Careerist Resource Group
All four resource groups have exciting and eye-opening webinars scheduled in the upcoming year which are open to the public and FREE for IFT members. Check out the calendar to join us!
