Several holidays are celebrated in different cultures around the world during the month of December. While traditions may vary, food is a central part of many of these celebrations. IFT invites the science of food community to share photos from their favorite holiday meals with a descriptive caption on social media in celebration of this joyful time of year.
The sweepstakes runs Dec. 10, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) through Jan. 3, 2020 at 11:59 PM CT.
Here's how to enter:
- Follow IFT on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn
- Post a photo of your favorite holiday food or meal on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, including a descriptive caption about the dish depicted and why it's your favorite
- To qualify, all entries must include:
- On Facebook: Tag @iftfoodscience and use the hashtags #IFTCelebrates and #Sweepstakes
- On Instagram: Tag @iftfoodscience and use the hashtags #IFTCelebrates and #Sweepstakes
- On LinkedIn: Tag @Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and use the hashtags #IFTCelebrates and #Sweepstakes
- Limit one (1) entry per person per calendar week provided each photo and caption is unique.

One lucky winner will be randomly selected to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Two additional runners-up will be randomly chosen to receive an IFT-branded zip-up fleece (valued at $40 each).
