More than 2/3rd of young adults say they would rather communicate with people online than in person (Betsy Morris Wall Street Journal 9/11/18 page A3); however, dialog between individuals – whether two people or more provides an opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and at times find common ground. This scientific dialog is what we want to cultivate in our division and scientific community. Everyone needs to be able to listen and feel comfortable asking thought provoking questions to glean more from the data presented. The diverse backgrounds of our panelists will ensure all attendees benefit from this event.
